Obituary of Robert Thomas Cummings Carr

CARR - Robert Thomas Cummings B.A., L.L.B., J.D. Robert Thomas Cummings Carr, B.A. , L.L. B., J. D., at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Thursday October 27, 2011, while in his 87th year. For the past 57 years Bob has been the beloved husband of Joyce Ann Napier. Predeceased by his parents Isobel and H.H. Carr, of North Bay. Father of Lori Isabel Hubbert (Bill) of Sundridge, Robert Wallace Carr of Winnipeg and Allan Herbert Carr of North Bay. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Mary Jane, Beth and Sarah Hubbert, Emilie, Chad, Thomas, Jason , Matthew and Jesse Carr, and his great grandchildren Gavan White and Colton Carr. Predeceased by sisters Isobel (Dr. R.B. Hambley deceased) , Sybil Wallace (George deceased) and Enid, and brothers Herbert Jr., and Fred Blakeley Carr (Myrtle). Remembered by Cliff &Michelle Bradshaw and Patricia Alcorn Carr. Bob was a retired lawyer (Juris Doctor) (Wallace & Carr), served in the R.C.A.F during WWII, was a member of the 406 Squadron North Bay, an Honorary Elder of Trinity United Church, and a former member of the Judicial Committee of the United Church of Canada. At Bob's request there will be no visitation. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held in Trinity United Church, North Bay , at 2:00pm on Monday November 14, 2011.
