Obituary of Margarete Freda Helen Thiel

THIEL: Margaret Frieda Helene November 3, 1920 - October 10, 2016 After a brief illness Margaret has gone to be with her beloved husband Rudolf Thiel (Rudi). She will be remembered for her sense of humor, her strength of character and her love of flowers and gardening. She is survived by her nieces Hedda and Heidrun and their families. Special thanks to the people at the Empire Living Centre, to the nurses and doctors at the North Bay Regional Health Centre, and to her many friends, for the care and kindness shown to Margaret in her final years and days. As per Margaret's wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment in the family plot, in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Rutherglen, Ontario with Rudi, to follow at a later date. She did not want a memorial service, so please remember her in your hearts. If desired donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, or the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation, Equipment Fund, will be gratefully accepted as expressions of sympathy.
