Obituary of Mary Iva Hone

HONE: Iva At Cassellholme, on Sunday, January 22, 2012. Mary Iva (nee Livingstone) was the beloved wife and partner of the late Reuben Gooderham Hone, in her 93rd year. Proud and loving mother of Linda Green and her husband Wayne, and Daniel and his wife Patricia both of Rutherglen and Susan McLeod and her husband Terry of Corbeil. She was predeceased by her daughters Joyce Cook and Judy Hone. She will be lovingly remembered by her 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Iva was also predeceased by her siblings Osborne Livingstone, Isobel Ford, Jenny Arquette, Annie Jackson, Leslie Livingstone, Vera Firman and Victoria Livingstone. A long time area resident Iva and her late husband Reuben farmed and raised their family in Rutherglen. Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm. Funeral Services will be held in the Martyn Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, January 26th, at 11:00 am. Spring Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donation to a Charity of Your Choice would be appreciated by the family.
