Obituary of Barry Alfred Edward Bywater

It is with very heavy hearts that we had to say good by to a beautiful soul. Barry passed peacefully surrounded by family, on April 3, 2017, at NBRHC, in his 81 st year after a brief battle with cancer. Dearly devoted husband and soulmate of Jean, GG, (nee Harvey). Dedicated and loving father of Shelley Bywater and partner Bruno Venier of Innisfil, Nancy Kennedy and her husband Tim of Port Hope and Melanie Bywater and her husband Giulian LaRovere of London. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Josh, Kiera, Marianne (Dave), Nick (Tayla), Emily (Joel), Jacey, Maren and by his great grandson Holton. Dearly loved brother of Blaine (Cookie), Betty (Len), and he was predeceased by his siblings Jack, Dorothy, and Mary. Barry will be greatly missed by his many family and friends and his Puppy, Martini . Barry had a zest for life like no other. He displayed kindness and compassion for everyone, a true gentleman who lit up a room , who made everyone feel important. His quick witt, amazing sense of humour and contagious smile touched everyone he met. A selfless, generous, dedicated family man who cared deeply for others. He was Passionate about sports & life. The end of an era! Heaven's lucky gain! Barry will definitely ensure that every one will " GO HAVE FUN ". A celebration of life will be held at a later date. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society will be greatfully appreciated by his family.
