Obituary of Lynda Gail Wickett

Wickett, Lynda Gail (nee Keffer) 1944 - 2017 Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at North Bay Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 she was in her 73rd year. Beloved wife and best friend of Rod Wickett of North Bay for 54 years. Cherished mother of Derek (Kim) and Brent (Tiffany). Proud grandmother of Jamie, Shaquon and Tamika. Predeceased by her parents Stanley, Winnie and Margaret Keffer. Loving remembered by her brother Brian Keffer. Lynda was happiest at home with her family. She loved to read, attending the Battalion hockey games, listening to music and enjoyed vacationing in Florida, watching her beloved pelicans, and going to Disney World. She was a loving and caring person, always thinking of others first. "To know her was to love her." Grateful thanks to Dr. Ng and all the Doctors, nurses and staff of B3 and CCU at the North Bay Regional Health Centre and the VON and CCAC for all of their care and compassion for Lynda. Sadly missed by nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends. The family will receive friends at MARTYN FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday, February 22nd 2017 from 11a.m. to 1 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. If desired, donations to the North Bay Regional Health Centre or Near North Palliative Care Network would be gratefully acknowledged as an expression of sympathy.
