Obituary of Mary Barbara Gordon

Gordon, Mary "Barbara" Passed away peacefully at Cassellholme on Saturday, January 7, 2017, in her 87th year. Beloved wife of Dalton Gordon of North Bay. Cherished mother of Elizabeth "Beth" Grimstead (Mark)of Bracebridge, Bradley Gordon (Deb) of North Bay, Karen Gordon (Barb's son David predeceased) of North Bay and Lynn Weaver (Russ) of B.C. Proud Nana of 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Sadly missed by her sisters Elizabeth Wall of Virgina, Cathy Marmino (Jim) of North Bay, Nancy Peverley (Lyle predeceased) of Guelph; sister in law Joyce Fraser of North Bay (Barb's brother Hugh predeceased) and Terry Fraser (Margaret Ellen) both predeceased. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Barbara was very proud to be on the North Bay Library Board, was bestowed a Life Time Membership of the North Bay YMCA, and was a Life time member of the Girl Guides of Canada . Family will receive friends at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until the Memorial Service at 12 noon.
