Obituary of Norma Faye Horton

With broken hearts we announce the passing of a beautiful lady. Faye was loved by all who knew her. Faye was the beloved wife of John Horton. She was cherished greatly by her children Karen (Leonard Hummel), Jackie (David Barber), and Todd (Claudette Horton). She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Bradley Hummel, Tyler Hummel, Ashley (Skyler McGuinty), Sam Barber, Katie Barber, Kennedy Horton, Celeste (Brody Wanner), and Tanya (Pietro Carello), as well as her great grandchildren Harley, Mollie, Brynn, and Ruby. As well, she will be immensely missed by her sister Ethel Windrem (Jim O’Reilly) and brothers Darwin (Barb Germyn), and Perry (Mary-Jane Germyn). Predeceased by her parents Norm and Maizie Germyn. Faye was an amazing friend to many, acquiring many lifelong friendships through her hairstyling business that she was so passionate about. The family extends a special thank you to Heather McGuinty, Dr. Jinnah, and staff at Community Care Access Center who were so kind to our family with their dedication and compassion. Please join us in a celebration of Faye’s life at the Emmanuel United Church Thursday, January 5th, at 1:00 pm. Donations to Nipissing Serenity Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
