Obituary of Barbara Elaine White

Surrounded by the love of her family at the North Bay Regional Hospital, Monday December 5, 2016. Dear wife of William “Bill” White for over 64 years, loving mother of Nancy Lamarche (Conrad), Laura White and Sherri White (all of North Bay) and Brenda Morris (Mark) of Ottawa. Barb will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Lindsay (P.J.), Bill (Amy) and Lianne Lamarche, Julia and Samuel Morris, David (Melanie), Rachel and Carla White, and great grandchildren Sage, Emma and Kaleb. Born in Lindsay, Ontario and long-time resident of North Bay, Barbara is predeceased by her parents Aletha (Dee) and George Frederick Davies, sister Joan Brown (Brownie) and brother Don Davies (Shirley, currently of North Bay). Barbara was an accomplished bookkeeper and legal secretary, and she ended her career in 1995 as Executive Assistant to the Medical Officer of Health in North Bay. Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home on Monday December 12th from 2-4 and 7-9pm, and a funeral service will be held in the Martyn chapel on Tuesday December 13th at 11am with a reception afterward. A private family interment will follow the reception.
