Obituary of Ellwood Robert Caldwell

Caldwell: Ellwood Robert “Woody” Ellwood Robert Caldwell, 59, passed on November 30, 2016 in North Bay, ON. Woody is survived by his loving wife Meredith Buckley, and children; Krista Caldwell (Thomas), Kayla Fournier (Brad), Mark Caldwell Lagassie (Jason), and Aurora Buckley. Papa will be missed by his grandchildren; Shea, Lauren, Peyton, Avery, Mia and Sadie. Woody will be missed by his siblings and many nieces and nephews. He was a father, a grandfather, a husband, a brother, and a friend. You could find him on his bike, in his garden, on the ice fishing, in the woods hunting, on adventures with his kids and grandkids, or at home with his beloved family. Woody was a quiet man, full of compassion, humility, and love. He will be remembered and missed by many friends and family in his community. Friends are invited to call on Sunday at Martyn Funeral Home from 2-5pm. A celebration of Woody’s life will take place at Trinity United Church on Monday, December 5 at 1:30pm.
