THULER – Pauline Eliza
The Thuler family sadly announces the death of their dear mother Pauline on Wednesday November 9, 2016. Pauline died peacefully, a few days after her 87th birthday, at the North Bay Regional Health Centre, with family by her side, and after a life well lived. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, the late Alfred John Thuler and by her great granddaughter the late Rhéa Lavictoire. The proud and loving mother of Margaret “Peggy” Thuler of North Bay, Randy Thuler (Francine) of Petawawa, and Karen Pigeau (Murray) and Caralee Smith (Mark) of North Bay, she will also be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Gordon Thuler (partner Heidi), Jay Thuler (wife Cheryl), Julie Lavictoire (husband Ben), Mitchell Pigeau (wife Jennifer), Brynne Doxsee (husband Eric), Corrine Smith (partner Tristin) and Alex Smith (partner Ali). She was the treasured great grandmother of Chloe and Charlotte Thuler, Hector and Raymond Lavictoire, Hunter and Easton Doxsee and Gabriel Allen Pigeau. She is also survived by her brother William Schedler and her sister Lola Benninger. Pauline was a long time Callander resident, making her home there for over 50 years. She will be remembered by many as a long time volunteer with the Callander Heritage Museum and as a volunteer with the Brownies and Girl Guides during her younger years. In keeping with her wishes cremation will take place. A private family gathering will be held. If desired donations to the Callander Museum will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
