Obituary of Terrence Michael Bonany

BONANY, TERRY The family of Terry Bonany wish to announce his death on June 27, 2016. Terry died at the North Bay Regional Health Centre after a valiant battle with Heart Disease. He was 67 years old. Terry will be sadly missed by his daughter Terry Ann (Ashley Smith) and his son David. He is survived by three brothers, Gerry (Stella), Dennis (Margaret) and John and four sisters, Annette (Ted Dunn deceased), Barbara Truchon (Fred) Lynn Bonany and Anna Mary Toohey. He is predeceased by his parents, Percy and Jeannette Bonany, sister Velma and brother Richard. He had four special grandchildren Rhyin, Cameron, Oliver and Mia. He was a cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews. Terry worked for many years at the CNR. He was an avid baseball player and coach to several ladies softball teams. Terry will be missed for his incredible sense of humor and his famous one line zingers. He was always ready to help others with his carpentry skills and home renovations. At Terry's request, there will be no visitation. Family will receive friends and relatives at Holy Name of Jesus Church at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday June 30, 2016. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Cremation will be at Forest Lawn Crematorium. Interment will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery on Tuesday July 5th with a private family service. The family wishes to thank the Emergency Room Doctor and Nurses especially Nurse Coretta. Your kindness to us was appreciated. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Regional Cancer Centre and the Canadian Diabetes Association.
