Ken Stange was an excellent professor who was dedicated to his students. His poetry was dark but interesting. My sympathies to his family.

My deepest condolences to his family. I have fond memories of Ken, and still have a book of his poetry given to me a long time ago. I'm saddened to hear of his passing, and my thoughts are with you all.

I am saddened to learn of Ken's passing and I hold Ursula, Chris, Kate and family in my thoughts. I have always respected Ken's wisdom, insight, intelligence, integrity, his intense concern for justice and truth, his outspoken honesty, creative talents, and sense of humour. He had a depth of character that set him apart and I always felt privileged to know him. The world is a smaller place now.

Ursula and family, I was deeply saddened to hear of Ken's passing. Ken was one of the few teacher's/professors who had an impact on my life. Being a mature student going back to University was a challenge in itself, but after spending two semesters with Ken, our relationship as student/professor turned into a lifelong friendship. I enjoyed the great conversations we had while at Nipissing and when we did see each other around North Bay. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers during this time. RIP my friend!

On behalf of Nipissing Athletics and the Laker family I would like to express our deepest condolences to the Stange family on your loss.Ken was one of those people who made up the frame work of Nipissing-first as a sibling to laurentian and then on our own.He cared about not only the academic success of his students but their well being as well.He will be missed-take care my friend-until we meet again.
