C'est avec tristesse que la famille annonce le décès de Lucille Labelle (née Wissell), agée de 82 ans. Elle laisse dans le deuil son époux exceptionnellement dévoué, Roger Labelle. La belle histoire d'amour de Lucille et Roger va au-délà du 64 ans de leur mariage. Ensemble, ils ont eu 4 enfants: Diane Ouellet (Jean-Marc), de Mattawa; Marcel Labelle (Joanne) de Mattawa; Joanne Cloutier (Yves) de Farnham, QC; Linda Bastien (Clifford JR) de Mattawa, son gendre feu Tim Tremblay. Elle est la chère grand-mère de 14 petits-enfants et 16 arrières-petits-enfants. La nouvelle des naissances anticipées d'un 17e arrière-petit-enfant ainsi qu'un premier arrière-arrière-petit-enfant lui a fait grandement plaisir.
Lucille est prédécèdée de ses parents, Ida et Auguste Wissell, ses frères, Léo et Hervé Wissell, ainsi que sa soeur, Germaine Prévost. Elle laisse dans le deuil ses 2 soeurs et 2 frères: Laura Hughes, Rhéa Larente-Dupuis (Marcel), Donat (Vernice) et Charles. Lucille était très fière d'appartenir à la communauté "Mattawa/North Bay Algonquin First Nation".

It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Lucille Labelle (née Wissell). She was 82 years old. Lucille is survived by her unparalleled devoted husband, Roger Labelle. Lucille and Roger were enjoying their 65th year of marriage. Together, they had 4 children; Diane Ouellet (Jean-Marc) of Mattawa, Marcel (Joanne) of Mattawa, Joanne Cloutier (Yves) of Farnham, QC, Linda Bastien (Clifford JR) of Mattawa, predeceased by her son-in-law Tim Tremblay. Survived and loved by her 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 2 more babies on their way; one is a great-grandchild and the other is the first great-great-grandchild.
Lucille is predeceased by her parents Ida & August Wissell, her brothers Léo and Hervé Wissell, and her sister Germaine Prévost. Survived by siblings Laura Hughes, Rhéa Larente-Dupuis (Marcel), Donat (Vernice) and Charles. Lucille was proud to be part of the Mattawa/North Bay Algonquin First Nation Community.

A celebration of her life will be held at the Madadjiwan Cultural Centre, located at 318 Main Street, Mattawa, on Wednesday, May 4th, 2016 from 1:00 pm till 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations to the Mattawa Food Bank would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
