Obituary of Linton Arthur Welin

Passed away peacefully at Health Sciences North with members of his family by his side, on Saturday, April 16th, 2016. Lint, was beloved husband and companion of Jean Porter (nee Bond), he was in his 77th year. Loving father of Tawnia & Tony, John, Joy & Rob and loving grandfather of Jacob & Pierce. He will be sadly missed by Jean’s children Wanda & Rob, Teresa, Larry & Diane, Brenda & Claude, Donna & Joanne and Kevin & Christine. He will be lovingly remembered by 14 grandchildren. Dearly loved brother of Joan Welin. He was predeceased by his parents Arthur & Nina. Lint worked for many years as a Clerk with the ONTC. After retirement he enjoyed spending time with Jean and his extended family. He was an active member of the North Bay Masonic Lodge #617 A.F.&A.M. and Rorab Shrine Club. Visitation for Lint will be held at the Martyn Funeral Home on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 PM. A Masonic Memorial Service will be held Friday evening at 7:00 P.M. in the Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held in the Martyn Funeral Home on Saturday, April 23rd, at 1:00 P.M. Cremation has taken place.
