Our most sincere condolences to Leena and Johanna, and Victoria, on cousin Randy's untimely death. I have many fond memories of the fun times we had when uncle Paul and aunt Toini brought Randy, Robert and Vicki to visit the Harjus at Beaver Lake to go fishing at Ella. Unfortunately, our paths diverged in our teenage years as we grew up and moved on to pursue our careers in the mining business. Joanna & I will treasure our two large salad bowls that randy designed/created several years ago. He was a truly gifted woodworker and a 'gentle' giant of a man.

I am very sorry to hear of Randy's passing. We had common first cousins. I got to know Randy when he came to Rouyn/Noranda and we worked together at the Lake Dufault Mines. We also spent a lot of time together at both his cottage at Kanasuta and at my parents' cottage there. We also partied and had a lot of fun together. I am so sorry to learn of your great loss. I spoke with Randy two days before this tragic event. Randy and I and Duncan enjoyed many fishing and hunting trips together while we were in Rouyn-Noranda and I knew Randy's parents quite well. I remember many late nights and many good times in his company. Whenever we went out, we were never afraid because Randy was such a big man and a good man. He will be missed.
