Obituary of Irwin Ray Helps

HELPS: IRWIN RAY Irwin passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Saturday January 16th, 2016 in his 81st year. Loving husband of the late Patricia, his wife of 47 years. Beloved father of Janet Hale-Sanders and her husband Bill of Oakville, and David and his fiancé Tina Morris of North Bay and the loving grandfather of Kara. Irwin was predeceased by his brother Wes and will be sadly missed by Uncle Ernie Romain of North Bay. Irwin enjoyed an active retirement from Ontario Hydro. He volunteered at the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre and the Teen Lunch Program at St Brice's Church. He was involved in many hobbies including woodwork, skiing and baking chocolate cake with his granddaughter. Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home (across from city hall) on Thursday January 21, 2016 from 7-9 p.m. and at St. Brice's Church on Friday January 22, 2016 from 1 p.m. until the memorail service at 2 p.m. Cremation at Forest Lawn Crematorium.
