Dear Donna, Kassandra and Sean We were shocked, sadened and truly sorry to learn of Rod's illness and recent passing. I enjoyed working with Rod all those many years at the Bell. He always remained calm and patient when a job became a problem. There was never any doubt that he loved his family with all his heart. He will always be remembered as a kind, gentle soul with a smile that lit up a room. You have our deepest sympathy. Al and Deb Tibbles

Dear Donna, Sean & Kass - My condolences. May Rod's memory serve to keep your family strong in adversity; together with love, and may your kids always respect and care for you. And keep many of us inspired to keep positive - as Rod was. You were a strong and committed couple. A fine example. I was so saddened to hear of Rod's passing. Annie Krista Seguin's mum

Rod, we go back a very long time, shared many laughs with families, friends and fellow workers . We spent 32 years together at Bell Canada. Both of us were involved with our union CWC helping each other fight for our rights. Shared a few drinks after our union meeting, Bell functions and of course while playing pool with you . Yes our team "Good to Go " won us a few championships over the years. From Nov 2004 , when we left Bell for an early retirement, we started our networking company : Pro Com Services " which we ran for almost 11 years. You were the one that would say we can get that job done in no time, yes that is possible. You stayed positive right to the end. Never heard a complaint from you when you were getting seriously sick. You made me think more positive about situations.. Thank you my dear friend. Our times spent together will be remembered forever...

Dearest Donna and family, Our thoughts and prayers are for you and the children. Although we spent little time with you and Rod, we have learned to love Rod like a brother. He was always so kind and loving to everyone he met. Always with a smile and a kind word for everyone he met. We know that his love for the lake and his boating, especially SAILING, was always second to you and the children. His dying wish was to be at home with you at the lake and the Lord has granted his wish. Every time we look up at the sky and see those clouds floating by, we will think of Rod sailing across the universe in the arms of God. May this bring support and comfort during this time of loss. Love Always.

Rod was a great friend and co-worker and we always enjoyed his company when he came to our house to play poker. His passing leaves a hole in our hearts that will not soon be filled. He was a man of uncommon calibre.
