Obituary of Lincoln William Pennell
PENNELL – Lincoln Wm. “Specks”
The Pennell family sadly announce Specks death on Wednesday morning November 4, 2105. He died at the North Bay Regional Hospital after several years of declining health, at the age of 77. For the past fifty five years he had been the devoted and loving husband of Ann (nee Boreland). The proud and loving father of Mark (Doreen) of Kamloops, B.C., Bill of Redbridge, and Penny of Toronto, he will also be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Scott, Kevin, Hayley & Deaundra. A dedicated husband and father, and a long time resident of Redbridge, Speck worked as a lineman for the Ontario Northland Telecommunications. He joined the ONR shortly after deciding he had enough of school and remained there until retiring after 37 years of service. In his spare time he enjoyed woodworking. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place. A grave side committal service will be held in the North Bay Union Cemetery at 10:30am on Saturday November 7th. If desired donations to the charity of your choice will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy. Arrangements entrusted to Martyn Funeral Home with online condolences at www.martynfh.com.
