Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Sunday, October 18th , 2015, he was in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Rollande Matte. Cherished father of Christine Munro (Mark), Michelle Schmitt (Roger), Pierre Matte (Minako) and Natalie Point (Greg). Proud grandfather of Tyler, Matthew, Jonathan, Julia, Spencer, Abigail, Sara, Ailey. Family will receive friends at the Martyn Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Vincent-de-Paul on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 11 a.m. Burial will take place at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
