Obituary of Bernadette Marie Lena Villeneuve

C’est avec tristesse que la famille annonce son décès survenu soudainement à Mattawa, le jeudi 30 juillet, 2015, avec ses proches à ses côtés. Prédécédée par son époux Louis Villeneuve en 1997. Mère bien-aimée de Denise Boulanger (Michel) de Mattawa, Denis d’Elliott Lake, Jean-Marc (Lynn) de Laval et Louise Manning d’Orléans. Son souvenir restera gravé dans la mémoire de ses petits-enfants Justin (Mel), Sylvain (Yan), Joëlle (Alex), Jeffrey (Marie-Ève), Tyler et Logan (Jessica) et ses arrière-petits-enfants Joshua, Brianna, Amber, Tristan et Mason. Elle laisse aussi dans le deuil ses soeurs Rita Dufresne (Maurice, prédécédée) et Jacqueline St-Pierre (Maurice). Prédécédée par ses parents Lorenzo et Eva (née Boivin) Martin et son frère Marc Martin et sa femme Denise. Bernadette a travaillé comme agente de la paie à l'Hôpital général de Mattawa depuis plus de 25 ans. Elle s’amusait au curling et au camping avec sa famille et ses amis. La famille recevra parents et amis au Salon funéraire Martyn et Sloan le dimanche 2 août de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h. La messe des funérailles aura lieu de lundi 3 août à 11h. L’incinération suivra et l’enterrement aura lieu à Bonfield. Des dons à l’Hôpital général de Mattawa seraient grandement appréciés. Loving mother of Denise Boulanger (Michel) of Mattawa, Denis of Elliott Lake, Jean-Marc (Lynn) of Laval, Quebec and Louise Manning of Orleans. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Justin (Mel), Sylvain (Yan), Joelle (Alex), Jeffrey (Marie-Eve), Tyler and Logan (Jessica) and by her great grandchildren Joshua, Brianna, Amber, Tristan and Mason. Survived by her sisters Rita Dufresne (Maurice, predeceased) and Jacqueline St-Pierre (Maurice). Predeceased by her parents Lorenzo and Eva (nee Boivin) Martin and her brother Marc Martin and his wife Denise. Bernadette worked as a payroll officer at the Mattawa General Hospital for over 25 years. She enjoyed curling and camping with family and friends. Friends may call at the Martyn & Sloan ‘Mattawa Chapel’ on Sunday August 2nd from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral mass will be held at St. Anne’s Church on Monday August 3rd at 11 am. Cremation will follow with the burial of ashes in Bonfield. In lieu of flowers donations to the Mattawa Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
