Obituary of Margaret Patricia Johnston

JOHNSTON – Margaret Patricia “Pat” Peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, April 1, 2015, a few short days before her 87th birthday, and after a lengthy struggle with Alzheimer’s disease. For the past 66 years Pat has been the devoted and loving wife to Earl. The proud and loving mother of Murray (Carol), Terry (Tracy) and Lynn Ringler (Terry). She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Meredith, Emily, Wes, Jennah, Jesse, Kyle and Jodie, and her great grandchildren Loghan, Memphys, Maddy, Reese, Ruby, Milo, Elizabeth and Henry. Born and raised in North Bay she will be sadly missed by her brother Bill Maass (Moira). Pat enjoyed cooking, sewing, knitting, crocheting, bowling and travelling. Her happiest moments were when she was surrounded by her family and grandchildren. She was a life-long member of Trinity United Church. Friends may call at Martyn Funeral Home on Tuesday from 12 noon until time for services in the chapel at 2:00pm. Cremation to follow.
