Obituary of George Henry Telford

TELFORD: George It is with great sadness that the Telford family announces George’s passing at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Saturday, January 24, 2015, at the age of 82 years. Beloved and cherished husband of the late Norma Telford. The proud and loving father of Jim, and Brian and his wife Laura Predeceased by his infant daughter Deborah. Sadly missed by his sister in law Vera Lemaire. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandsons Brent (Nicole ) and Darren, (Shelli) of North Bay. Great grandfather of Marcus & Bryson. George was the son of the late Florence Crossthwaite and George Edward Telford He will be sadly missed by his siblings Pearl (Ron) Jackman, Shirley Mc Kavanaugh, Lorraine (Don) Lafontaine Alvin deceased (Claudette), Vernon (Sylvia). George was a dedicated employee of the Ontario Northland Railroad for 38 years working his way up from Section Foreman to Assistant Engineer. of Maintence Of Way. George was an avid outdoors man and enjoyed time shared with family and friends at his camp at Redwater and Blue Grass Festivites. His family and friends will miss him greatly.
