Passed away at the Mattawa General Hospital on Tuesday, January 13th, 2015, he was in his 81st year. Alex is predeceased by his parents Thomas and Francise Blake and his eight siblings. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. A memorial service will be held at St. Anne's Church on Saturday, January 17th, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation has taken place at Forest Lawn Crematorium. Burial of ashes will take place at St. Anne's Cemetery in the spring 2015. If desired, donations to the Mattawa Legion or the Mattawa Hospital will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to MARTYN & SLOAN "Mattawa Chapel".
