Obituary of Lawrence Michael Cybulski

Cybulski – Lawrence Michael Peacefully at his home in Mattawa on Monday January 12, 2015 at the age of 86. Lawrence was the beloved husband of the late Simone Morin, who predeceased him in 1999. The dear father of Tony of Kitchener, Debbie Miller (Bruce), and Pat, all of Mattawa and the late Robert. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Christian and Angelique, and his five great grandchildren. The last surviving member of his family he was predeceased by is sibling Ben, Rita Yolkowski (late Tom), Adolf, Dominic, and Doris MacDonald (late Gerald), who predeceased him by nine days. A professional Firefighter Lawrence’s career began with Ontario Hydro in Mattawa as a firefighter at the dam. He moved to the Fire Department in Niagara On The Lake, and finally joined the Kitchener Fire Department. He returned to Mattawa after retiring. An avid out of doors man he loved hunting and fishing. Friends may call at the Martyn & Sloan Mattawa Chapel on Thursday evening from 7 – 9 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Anne’s Church at 11:00am on Friday January 16.
