Obituary of Mary Grierson

Grierson, Mary (nee Cummings) After a brave and lengthy battle with cancer Mary passed away with her family by her side at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Thursday, December 4, 2014. Mary was pre-deceased by her parents, Gerald and Gwen Cummings, and her brother Peter Cummings. Will be sadly missed by her loving partner Randy Ollivier, her children Dixie Hampel (Drew) Bradley Grierson (Renee), Jason Ollivier (Kelly) Colan Ollivier (Priscilla). She is survived by her sisters Sally Westlake (Greg) and Jayne Abbott (Bob), sister in law Dixie Cummings, nieces & nephews, Susan Nelson (Hugh) Jane Mick (Ken), Gerry, Marnie, James, Katherine, and Sarah . Nanny was a very proud grandmother to Jonathan, Carly (& Jordyn) Shawna, Hailey, Alexa, Saige and Amelia, great grandmother of Carter. Mary retired from the Nipissing Board of Education after many years. She and Randy then enjoyed traveling and spending time with their many friends. Everyone who knows us knows how much we loved her, and everyone who knows her understands why. Family will receive friends at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME on Sunday, December 7, 2014 from 1:30 p.m. until the time of memorial service at 4:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place at Forest Lawn Crematorium. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
