Dear Rosemary, George and Michelle: we are so sorry to hear of Charlotte's death. She was a very special lady for us. We will never forget stops in North Bay on our way across Canada and the glorious food she regaled us with. She gave us a dessert cookbook by Le Notre and every time we use it, we think of her. We send our sincere sympathy to all the family. We know how she will be missed.

Geri and I would like to express our sincere condolences to the Ames Family on the passing of a grand lady, who contributed greatly to the development of Nipissing as a key member of the Group of Seven. Known as: Charlotte by my bridge playing mother, Hazel, and Mme. Ames to my French studying linguist sister, Kim, and Mrs. Ames to me ... your mother, Meme, grandmother and GG has touched all of our lives and we are sorry to hear of her passing.
