Obituary of Joan Maureen Abbott

ABBOTT – Joan Maureen Joan’s family sadly announce her death at the North Bay Regional Health Centre. Joan died after a lengthy illness on Tuesday October 7, 2014, at the age of 53 years. The beloved and devoted wife of Paul Abbott she will be lovingly remembered by her step daughter Sarah Abbott and grandchildren Lennox & Joshua. The dear sister of Marilyn Pilon, Joan was predeceased by her parents Helen and Leonard Kaye. In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place and no visitation or funeral services will be held. A graveside service will be held at the family plot, Forest Lawn Cemetery at 1:00pm on Friday October 10, 2014. If desired donation to the Canadian Marfan Society or Spinal Cord Research will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
