CROCKER: Gary Robert
Passed peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Center, on Sunday, August 10th, 2014. Gary, was the beloved husband of Vera Metler, he was 72 years old. Loving step-father of Barcley Metler and his wife Kaley of Millgrove and Wesley Metler and his wife Shannon of Calgary. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Jay & Allison. Dearly loved brother of Gloria Tremblay, Donna & Garry Laycox and Ken Crocker. Predeceased by his mother Lillian Crocker (nee Chenier). Gary worked with the Ministry of Natural Resources for a number of years, then he worked in the mining industry in both Northern Ontario and the Northwest Territories, retiring in 2000 after 25 years as an Auditor with Workplace Safety and Insurance Board. Cremation has taken place. If desired, donations to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Martyn Funeral Home 705-472-8810.
