Happy Birthday Dad.
I'm sending you a piece of cake. And I selected the candle that looks like cake, but don't eat the candle :)
We've said goodbye to Mom now too. We're so very sad without both of you near us. But, we have you both locked in our hearts forever and always. So where we go, you both come with us.
Hope there is some sort of celebration today that involves cake and ice cream.

Happy 78th Birthday Dad. We are all having a drink at nine tonight in celebration of your Birthday and in memory of you. This is the first Birthday that you are not with us. Well dad, the service is done & we are back home & you are on your journey. I hope that Cindy & I did you proud with our choices for your service, our, words, our memories, and song choices. I sat outside tonight and watched your star. It is bright and it was alone. Shortly after, two other stars appeared, I think you are almost there. Be happy dad, be at peace. Know that we are so proud to be your daughters. Don't worry about us dad. We will be ok. I know we will have times of pain and sadness but we will take care of one another. I love you & will never ever forget you and the love that you always had for us. Be brave for we are with you always. Don't be scared, feel our presence, feel our love and know you are not alone.
