Beckett, Orvil Stanley
Passed away suddenly at his home in Calvin Township on Thursday, April 3, 2014, he was in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Doreen Beckett (nee Whalley). Cherished father of Katherine (Rod), Stanley (Kelly), Vernon, Donald, Andrew (Sherri) and predeceased by his son Larry. Proud grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Sadly missed by his brother Glen (Karole) and predeceased by his siblings Robert, Gloria and Shirley. Friends may call at St. Andrew's in the Pine's in Mattawa on Monday, April 7th, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be celebrated at St. Andrew's in the Pine's in Mattawa on Tuesday, April 8th, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Calvin Union Cemetery, Eau Claire in the spring of 2014. If desired, donation to Warriors of Hope would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
