We only met John & Gwen when we moved into the neighborhood about 10 years ago, although we 'knew' John from his Radio and Television appearances. As a boy I remember listening to the imaginative Michael Mulligan and Jacques Corbeau adventures on the radio with awe...it was one of my best childhood memories. The music & broadcast world in this city has lost a legend and one of its founders...as well, the neighborhood has lost one of its brighter lights. God bless you Gwen and family.

Don and John. So sorry to hear of the passing of your father. I met Mr. Size at a young age when I was in the North Bay Boys Choir and he would help us out at our concerts and recordings. Had a great rapport with your Dad and the many times he encouraged me to keep singing when I was a teenager. Also enjoyed his Sunday morning Gospel show on CKAT being a lover of liturgical music myself. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless!

My Grandfather was a great man. I used to go over all the time, he would bring me into his office and play me music. He tried to teach me the saxophone once...I wasn't very good at it. He is one of the reasons I am super into music and theatre. He also used to come to hear me sing. I am forever in awe of the strength my grandpa and grandma had as they struggled together through his 13 year battle with dementia. I can only aspire to be like the two of them as I get older. There wasn't a thing my Grandpa didn't do, I will miss him so much but I know that he is in a better place. My family and I are so grateful for all the love and support this community has shown us. My Uncle John was a cool fellow, he loved his fiddle music, and being on TV doing the news, we spent many years as a family together well growing up, we use go sledding, and John,Don would iv it's us in South River for the summers, we had a great time, Uncle John and Auntie Gwen were awesome, let me stay with them well I was working in north Bay, we spent many Times together at Christmas, at the farm and our home ...Though I have not kept in touch, you were all on my mind ,thought of yous a lot..God Bless...Your niece ...Cindy..
