Obituary of Florence May Mayhew

MAYHEW: Florence Peacefully surrounded by her family at the Mattawa Hospital, on Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at the age of 83 years old. Florence (nee Napper), was predeceased by her husband Omer Mayhew, son Alfred and by her parents George James Napper and Marie Alma (nee Nicolle). Loving mother of Paul (Peggy), Emile (Joanne), Lucien (Sherry), Arnel, Jeanne Hilson (Steven), Marie Partington (Andy), Rose Shaw (Bill Smith), Joyce Coulson (John), Robert (Jack) and Omer (Tracy). She will be lovingly remembered by her 25 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and by 5 great great grandchildren. Dearly loved sister of Shirley, Jean (Mac), Joyce (Alain) , Andrew (Sheila) and she will be remembered by her sister-in-law Dee (Robert Martin) and by her cousin Bob Napper. Florence was predeceased by her brother Fred. Visitation for Florence will be held at the Martyn & Sloan "Mattawa Chapel" on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Father Mitch Beachy at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, March 15th at 11:00 am. Cremation will follow the service with interment of Florence's ashes with Omer this spring at St. Anne's Cemetery.
