RAYCRAFT – Chris F. The Raycraft family sadly announces Chris’s unexpected death at the North Bay Regional Health Centre. Chris died peacefully on Sunday January 19 after a short illness. He was 61 years old. For the past 37 years he has been the dearly loved husband of Wendy (nee Quinn). The proud and loving father of Brent and Shaelah (Justin Valliquette), he will also be sadly missed by his grand daughter Annabella Quinn Valliquette. Chris is also survived by his brother Glen (Patricia), brother in law Dennis Quinn (Barb) and sister in law Karen Hobbs (late Ted). He will also be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Karen, his father Bill, and this past summer by his mother Dorothy. Born and raised in North Bay Chris was a Certified Civil Engineering Technician. Prior to joining Tulloch Engineering Chris worked for several years for Central (Union) Gas. He was currently a Senior Inspector of Road Construction for Tulloch. Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home on Saturday afternoon and evening from 2- 4 & 7 -9pm. No funeral service will be held. In keeping with his wishes cremation will take place.
