Harrison – Rita Mary
Peacefully, after a short illness, at the North Bay Regional Health Center, on Saturday January 18, 2014, while in her 75th year. A loving daughter, sister, mother and grandmother Rita will be sadly missed and loving remembered by her mother Sylvia Brunet, of North Bay, her children Debbie Faucher (Andre) of Ottawa, Victoria Monkman(Brian) of Chestermere, Alberta, Michael Hamilton (Roxanne) and Jason Harrison (Erin) both of Ottawa, her sisters Yvonne Greer of Calabogie, and Penny Paulin (Bruce) of North Bay, her five grandchildren and her many nieces and nephews. Born and raised in North Bay Rita was an avid dart player, enjoying the friendship of her teammates at the 406 Wing. In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place. An interment service will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery on Friday May 9th at 2:00 PM. Rita’s family are especially thankful for the care and compassion given by Dr. Horsch during Rita’s illness. If desired donations to the North Bay Regional Health Center Foundation, Oncology Unit, will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
