Obituary of Thomas Isadore Godin

Godin, Thomas Isadore The Godin family sadly announces Thomas’s death on Saturday, January 11, 2014, peacefully at the Mattawa Hospital surrounded by his family, at the age of 85. He was the dearly loved and devoted husband of Viola (nee Mclaughlin). The proud and loving father of Pauline (Myles predeceased), Ronald (Debbie), Donald (Lee), Kathryn (Michael) and Michael (Trina). Proud grandfather of Tommy, Amanda, Wendy, Anita, Emmanuelle, J.F., Richard, Danny, Jimmy, Sebastian, Domonique and fifteen great-grandchildren. Thomas is survived by his siblings Fredy (Pierrette), Victor (Marlene), Sam (Theresa), Paul, Jean-Guy, Andy (Susie), Helen (Alec) and predeceased by Jerry. Family will receive friends at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME “Mattawa Chapel” on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 from 2:00 -4:00 p.m. & 7:00 -9:00 p.m. Funeral service will take place at St. Anne’s Church on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at St. Anne’s Cemetery in the spring 2014. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Mattawa Food Bank would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
