Obituary of Lillian Margaret Richardson
RICHARDSON – Lillian Margaret
Peacefully after a brief illness at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Wednesday January 8th, 2014, while in her 79th year. Lillian (nee Robinson) was the beloved wife of the late James Bertrand “Bert” Richardson, who predeceased her on February 15, 2000. The dearly loved mother of Eretta, and James and his wife Monique, Lillian “Nana” will also be sadly missed by her two adopted grandsons Taylor and Jordan Ringuette. She will be fondly remembered by her sister Rita Pringle, and her sisters in law Barbara, Linda and Sandy Robinson. She was predeceased by her brothers Orval, Elmer and Cecil. During her life Lillian had been a dedicated volunteer, helping whenever she could. She had been active with the United Church and was a member of the Rebekah Lodge. Lillian’s family offer their thanks to the Doctors and Nurses on D3 at the hospital and to the staff at Cassellholme, in particular those of the third floor, for their compassionate care during her time there. In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place. A service to celebrate her life will be held in May, with interment of her ashes in Forest Lawn Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers donations to the charity of your choice, in particular those involving children, to honor her love of all of the kids she looked after throughout the years, would be appreciated by her family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Martyn Funeral Home. Online condolences may be offered at www.martynfh.com.
