I have many wonderful memories of gatherings at your parents cottage . Your Dad's infectious smile & laugh. Your parents opened their hearts & home to share in laughter & good times. I caught up with your Dad many years ago, and my Mum & I were able to spend the day with him. They had a lot of catching up to do, and it was a pleasure hearing them recalling old times w/ North Bay Snow Trotters ,chili cook outs & bbq's. I had the greatest respect for both your father and mother. My condolences.

I was truly saddened to hear of Ron's passing. I have never forgotten the summers spent on Trout Lake when Paula and I were dating: such special times with Ron and Shirley, Stan and Gerri and the Shanklands as our hosts. Paula and I would often reminisce about those days. I will miss Ron's smile and always reassuring wave to me on his many travels to Overholt Place. He was truly a Survivor and someone I always looked up to. Love to Leslie, Brenda and Jennifer

It is with a heavy heart that we extend our deepest and heartfelt Sympathies to your family during this time of grief. Anna Daze, Brenda's mother-in-law, has told us of your father's passing. Although we did not have the gift of knowing Mr. Wood, we are nevertheless saddened. We enjoin ourselves in Thanksgiving for an obviously generous man. Our society is poorer given Mr. Wood's death.
