FRANCIS: Jean Bernice
Passed away peacefully at Nipissing Manor, on Sunday, December 29th,2013. Bernice was the beloved wife for 66 years of the late Donald Emerson Francis (predeceased 2012). Bernice was in her 89th year . Cherished mother of Dianne Thompson (Ken), Jane Campbell, and Robert Francis (Penny). Proud grandmother of eight grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents David and Erie (nee Lamb) Hall. While serving in the armed forces, Bernice and Don travelled extensively. After retirement, Bernice and Don settled in North Bay, later moving to Stirling, then settling in Belleville. During their retirement years, they enjoyed travelling the world, and visited many exotic places. Cremation has taken place, and a family graveside service will take place in Stirling in the spring of 2014. If desired, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Nipissing Manor Auxilliary would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy. Online condolences at www.martynfh.com
