Obituary of Lyne Helen Marie Lachance

LACHANCE, LYNE It is with a heavy heart that the family announces the peaceful passing of Lyne Lachance (Murray), surrounded by her loving family at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on December 9, 2013 at the age of 50. Lyne did not lose her battle to cancer as she never allowed it to define her or change her resolve to live a full life for the glory of God in her selfless service to her family and others. Loving wife of Tony for 28 years, cherished mom of Josué (Genevieve), Béthanie and Nathaniel, predeceased by her father Joseph Murray, survived by her mother Jeannine Murray, dear sister of Richard (Terra) Murray, Angèle (Bill) Holden, Angela Orchard, Suzanne Martin, Lena (Bill Gilpin) Murray, Rose (Todd) Gale, Joseph Jr. (Stacey) Murray, Emelda (Lou) Torchia, Robert (Michelle) Murray. She will also be fondly remembered by her in-laws: Hervé and Mariette Lachance, Guy (Darlene) Lachance, Anne (Aurèle) Lambert, and Lucie (Ron) Lamarche. Many nieces and nephews will miss their loving Aunt Lyne. Lyne loved children and served as a Sunday school teacher. She was a kind and generous soul and had a passion to see and meet the needs in others. She loved much and was very passionate about her children and siblings. She lived a full life and is leaving behind an outstanding legacy of a person who loved her God. Family will receive friends on Thursday December 12th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at Calvary Pentecostal North Bay church at 271 Ski Club Rd. A celebration of Lyne’s life will take place on Friday December 13th at the same location at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Special thanks to the doctors and nursing staff at both NBRHC and Sudbury Northeast Cancer Centre. A special acknowledgment to the North Bay Chemotherapy Unit for their exceptional care.
