The Zufelt family sadly announces the unexpected death of their beloved Keith at the North Bay Regional Health Center on Thursday November 14th at the age of 77 years. For the past 54 years he has been the loving and devoted husband of Claire (nee Desjardins). The proud father of Jamie Eggert (Clemens) of North Bay, Wendy Zufelt- Baxter (Peter) of Waterloo, and H. Keith of Fort McMurray, he will also be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Mackenzie Risk, Mark & Haley Baxter, Madison & Colton Eggert and was predeceased by his grandson Taylor Eggert. Keith is also survived by his brother Bill of Temagam, and his sister Frances Desjardins of North Bay. Born and raised in North Bay he was predeceased by his parents Harold and Mayme and his sister Nelda Gribbons. A salesman by profession Keith worked for many years with the L.E. Hansman Company in the mining and lumber industries. An avid outdoorsman, Keith’s happiest times were spent at his camp near Temagami. He thoroughly enjoyed the time spent there with his family and friends hunting and fishing and being in the bush. He will be remembered by many as a competent fishing guide. Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home on Sunday afternoon and evening from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 pm. A service to celebrate his life will be held in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 am Monday.
