Smallboy, Laura Harriet of St. Thomas, passed away suddenly, on Thursday, November 7th, 2013, at her late residence, in her 80th year. Beloved wife of the late William Smallboy and loved mother of Arthur Smallboy, Norman Smallboy, Edna Beaucage, Bart Smallboy, Henry Smallboy and Roberta Beaucage. Predeceased by a brother Elijah Alisappi. Loved grandmother of Kelly, Johm Fabian, Shane, Collins, Vanessa and Jennifer and great grandmother of Cheno-Ah, Robbie Jr., Memphis Lucius and Joey. Laura was born in Moose Factory, on January 5, 1934, the daughter of the late Arthur and Maria (Sack) Alisappi. She was a member of the Moose Cree First Nation. Laura was a Moose Factory Residential School survivor.
Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas where funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. Interment to take place in North Bay. Visitation at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Children's Hospital of Western Ontario.
