Obituary of Dolores Edith Eastman

EASTMAN, DOLORES EDITH Peacefully after a brief illness at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, at the age of 85. Dolores was predeceased by her beloved husband Edwin in 1996, and her younger brother, Henry Haskins Jr. She’ll be fondly remembered by her nieces Pat (Pierre) Bédard, Diane (Doug) Watson, of Ottawa, and her nephew Chuck Haskins (Ralph Johnston) of Sudbury. Great nephews and nieces: Jean-Pierre, Alain, Mathieu, Patrick, Jamie, Stephanie and the late Kevin. Dolores will be affectionately remembered by her aunt, Marion Fisher of North Bay, and her uncle Harold Shaw from Eastern Canada. Dolores was a long time member of the Eastern Star in Sudbury, a dedicated member of the Rebekah Lodge in North Bay, and a member of St. Andrew’s United Church. The family is grateful to her many friends for their support, and especially to her home care workers Joanne and Ann for their long term care of Dolores and her mother Edith. Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home on Wednesday 2 – 4 pm, and 7 – 9 pm. Funeral service to celebrate her in the Funeral Home Chapel 11 am Thursday.
