Obituary of O'neil Viel

VIEL: O'neil Passed away suddenly at the Mattawa Hospital, on Wednesday October 9th, 2013, his was 77 years old. O'neil Joseph Viel, was the beloved husband of Amanda (nee Minor). Loving father of Paul and his wife Lucie, Omer , Maurice and his wife Wendy Adams and Lyse Dumont and her husband Francis all of Mattawa. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Crystal, Eric, Patrick, Marc, Mathew, Braxton and by his great grandchildren Kendra and Thomas. He will be sadly missed by his sister Viola Bernier of Grand Falls, New Brunswick. He was predeceased by his parents Omeril and Edith Viel and by his siblings Enoil Viel, Helena Bouchard and Noella Guerrette. O'neil worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator in the bush for many years, he was a meticulous man about his vehicles, gardens and property. He enjoyed time spent with Amanda, family and friends; as well O'neil enjoyed fishing and hunting. Visitation for O'neil will be held at the Martyn and Sloan "Mattawa Chapel" on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Father Mitch Beachey at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, October 15th at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at St. Anne's Cemetery.
