Obituary of Edna Paterson

Paterson - Edna Louise. Passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, October 1st, 2013 after a brief illness. Mom was in her 90th year. Edna was the beloved wife of the late Gerald Angus (2009) for over 60 years, and the loving Mom of Rosalynd. Edna was the daughter of the late Capt. John and Louisa Dominy. She was predeceased by her brothers Clarence, Harry and Bert, and her sister Ada, all of Newfoundland. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Mom and Dad were married in St. John's, Newfoundland and returned to North Bay where Dad was in the family business. Mom was an avid reader and was always up to date on all the latest news and sports. She also loved the outdoors, especially looking after her roses and tomato plants. Many great summers were spent at the cottage on Lake Nosbonsing, especially with the Luckett clan. A special thank you to Jim & Nancy Dixon, and Hailey and Jim and Luana Beattie, and Clancy for being such great neighbors. Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home on Friday morning October 4th, from 10:00am until time for services in the chapel at 11:00am. Interment to follow in St. John's Anglican Cemetery.
