INGWERSEN – Hazel Beulah
Passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Saturday August 31, 2013. Hazel was the beloved wife of the late William “Bill” Ingwersen. The cherished mother of Bill and his wife Judith, she will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Tanya (Graham Mewett) and Sarah (Paul Leadbitter) and her great-grandchildren Roslyn and Molly and Elizabeth, Alice and David. Hazel was predeceased by her only sister Lorraine (late Bill Lockwood). She will also be sadly missed by Ruth & Dr. Frank Fazzari and their dear children, by her nieces Marilyn, Sharon and Joanne, and by Lilian Ryerse and family, and by her caring neighbours. She loved and was loved. A long time North Bay resident Hazel was a dedicated community volunteer. She worked at the Civic Hospital for a time in the Physiotherapy department. She will be remembered by many for volunteering with the Red Cross and Meals on Wheels and visitation at the Civic, St. Joseph’s and North Bay Psychiatric Hospitals. In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place. A private memorial service will be held followed with interment of her ashes in the family plot in Terrace Lawn Cemetery.
