McDonald, Mae (nee Butler). Passed away at the Algonquin Nursing Home in Mattawa on August 19, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 72 years old. Predeceased by her loving husband Ken McDonald. Dear mother of Celine McDonald (Micheal Gaudet), Jacques Guay (Monique) and Priscilla McDonald (Colan Ollivier). She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Trista McDonald (Nick Stowe), Liam Magill, Mike Guay, Eric Guay (Jessica), Shawna Ollivier and Hailey Ollivier. Survived by her sisters Monica Campus, Judy Butler, Shirley Koblynyk, and by her brothers Richard, Alex, William and Peter Butler. She will be fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Family will be receiving friends at the Martyn & Sloan "Mattawa Chapel" on Friday, August 23, 2013 from 2-4pm. Funeral Service will follow at 4pm at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church. A special thank you to the staff at the Algonquin Nursing Home for their amazing care. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Algonquin Nursing Home in Mae's memory will be gratefully acknowledged by her family.
