Obituary of Dean Storey

Storey – Dean William Retired Master Sergeant US Marine Corps Dean Storey died suddenly in Mission B.C. on Tuesday July 23rd, 2013 at the age of 64 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife Shirley (nee Daye), his son Shawn (Triva) and grandsons Brandon and Mykal. The dear son of Bill Storey of North Bay and the late Helen, and son in law of Doris Daye of Mission, and the late Ken, he will also be lovingly remembered by his sister Linda Kean (Michael) also of North Bay, and his many friends and relatives. Born in Toronto Dean was raised in North Bay, attending public and secondary school here. After graduating from West Ferris Secondary School he joined the United States Marine Corps and served in Vietnam. He retired as a Master Sergeant after 21 year in the Marines. Returning to Canada he and Shirley settled in Mission B.C. where they owned and operated a successful trucking and recycling business. A graveside service will be held on Saturday August 3, 2013 at 12:30 pm in the Vedder View Gardens Cemetery, Chilliwack BC.
