Aunt Betty has been a part of my life from the moment she and Uncle Chuck were married. I was six or seven at the time and remember travelling to North Bay on many occasions over the years for summer vacation. She always made me feel like a member of her North Bay family and I enjoy so many wonderful memories…the time spent visiting at her parent's home and walking down the street for soft ice cream, watching their home on Airport Road being built, going out on the Navy boat to pick blueberries, baking lemon squares together, the weekend we drove to Temagami to bring Ken out of the bush to spend the weekend with us in North Bay and the day they brought wee Nancy home for the first time. Over the years Aunt Betty and Uncle Chuck always held a special spot in my heart and always will. At a time like this all of the memories come flooding to the surface. I'll always remember my Aunt Betty with fondness and love. Linda

My family and I popped up for a visit to North Bay, Aunt Betty and Uncle Chuck graciously offered there home for us to stay. We drove all night and arrived in the "Bay" @ 9:00 Am., dead tired and in need of sleep. Upon our arrival and letting us sleep for 3 hours, she introduced us to her Itinerary!! She had our days mapped out for us!! So cool that was, She and Uncle Chuck took us to many of the scenic spots around the "Bay". Places we would have never seen had she not planned out our days!!! We were then, and still are, so grateful for her ( and Uncle Chucks) always gracious and sincere hospitality, Our kids, now 31 and 28 still talk about that time with smiles!! Although, we down here did not get up to see our family there in the "Bay" as much as we wanted or should have, I will always have a very special and warm place in my heart for Aunt Betty and all the great times, hosting my Mom when she ventured up.
You will be missed Aunt Betty and always loved!!
