MCTAVISH, Ian Ross - Died peacefully on July 17 2013, surrounded by his loving family. A celebration of Ian's life will be held Sunday July 21 2013 from 1-3pm at Osprey Links Golf Course (207 Osprey Crescent, Callander, ON) – all are welcome. Ian was born in Kapuskasing on June 07, 1943. He was married to his loving wife and globetrotting travel companion Mary (Bridge) for over forty years. Ian was a proud member of the North Bay community, contributing through his partnership in the practice of Law at Valin Partners, his involvement in the Rotary Club of North Bay, and his commitments to building a stronger YMCA for the city of North Bay. Ian’s love of curling saw him inducted into the North Bay Sports Hall of Fame, and his passion for fishing provided him a lifetime of fishing buddies and stories which he cherished and recalled fondly in his final days. In addition to his wife Mary, Ian is survived by his two sons Scott and Gavin, their partners Nikki and Danica, his sister Jean, and her three children Morgan, Galen, and Erin. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations to the North Bay Regional Health Center Foundation (705-495-8125), the North Bay YMCA (705-497-1915 ext 235), or to a charity of your choice.12510405
