Obituary of Judy Mary Turcotte

Suddenly and unexpectedly on Wednesday April 17, 2013 in her 58th year. Loving daughter of Barbara and the late Gerald Turcotte. Sadly missed by her sisters Gail of Mattawa, Lana (Norm) of Sudbury, Debbie (Paul) of Mattawa and Lisa (Randy) also of Mattawa and by her brother Michael (Laura) of San Francisco, California. Survived by nieces and nephews Laura and Jason, Pierre (Sara), Alex (Joelle), Brodie, Adam (predeceased), Zachary and Grace and great niece Lily. Judy will be missed very much by her faithful companions and best friends, her Shih Tzu puppies, Snowball and Panny. Judy was known for her compassionate and caring personality by both the residents and staff at the Algonquin Nursing Home. She devoted 35 years of her life working at the home starting when it first opened in 1977. She loved cooking, crafts and reading. She was also very active with the ANH Staff Union serving as president for several years. Friends may call at the Martyn & Sloan ‘Mattawa Chapel’ on Monday from 2-4 pm. A celebration of Judy’s life will follow at 4 pm. Cremation at the Forest Lawn Crematorium. If desired donations to Mattawa Senior’s Living would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
